Timelines for delivery of new regional Garda Headquarters in Bailieborough to be provided in coming weeks

Timelines for the construction and completion of the new regional Garda Headquarters in Bailieborough will be provided in the coming weeks.

“Having recently met with the Minister for Justice and Equality, Charlie Flanagan TD regarding the project to develop the new regional Garda Headquarters in Bailieborough, I have been assured that the timelines for the completion of this project will be provided in the coming weeks.

“These timelines will provide information on how long each aspect of the procurement and construction process will take.

“As the development of the new regional Garda headquarters in Bailieborough will be entirely State funded, the completion of this project will happen quicker than a similar project would if it were a public-private partnership.

“The new regional Garda headquarters in Bailieborough will be beneficial to both the local community and the entire Garda district.

“It is essential that local residents feel safe on our local streets and in their own homes. The delivery of this new regional Garda Headquarters will be an integral part of making this a reality for every member of our local community.

“I will continue to actively engage with Minister Flanagan in order to ensure the development of the new regional Garda headquarters remains a priority within his Department, and to make sure this project is completed in a timely manner to benefit both the local community in Bailieborough and our entire Garda district.”
