O’REILLY WELCOMES NEW CLASSROOMS FOR ST BRICIN’S COLLEGE

Fine Gael TD for Cavan, Deputy Joe O’Reilly has welcomed the news that funding for four new classrooms was awarded by the Department of Education, to St Bricin’s College, Belturbet, Co. Cavan.

Speaking after he was informed by the Department of Education, the Deputy said, ‘I was delighted to learn that St Bricin’s were awarded funding for four new classrooms. The Department sanctioned funding for two Mainstream Classrooms, one Special Needs Classroom and a Transition Year Classroom and Base. I know that the school made a very strong case to the Department last year and I would like to pay tribute to the school Principal Mary Sheridan, outgoing CEO, Mr Colm McEvoy and new CEO, Martin O’Brien, Ms Berni Power and all the supporting staff in the VEC for all their hard work on the application.’
