Fine Gael TD for Cavan and Monaghan, Deputy Joe O’Reilly, has today (22nd June) welcomed the news from Minister for Arts and Heritage, Jimmy Deenihan TD, that €15,000 has been allocated to St Mary’s Church, Crosserlough and Cavan Parish Church, which equates to €7,500 respectively. This money was allocated under the Department of Heritages’ ‘Structures at Risk Fund’.

Speaking after he was informed by the Minister the Deputy said ‘This is great news for both St Mary’s in Crosserlough and Cavan Parish Church. I am delighted with this investment and support to both Churches. Both buildings are beautifully crafted and have a long standing tradition in both communities. We have beautifully built heritage sites here in Cavan and we must work to preserving them.’
