€15,953.00 in Lottery Grants for community and voluntary organisations in Cavan

I welcome the allocation of €15,953.00 in Lottery Grants for community and voluntary organisations in Cavan, which provide healthcare related and social care services.

“My colleague, Minister for Health, Simon Harris, today announced €2.7 million in Health National Lottery Grants for community and voluntary organisations across Ireland.

“Over 120 community groups and voluntary organisations have received funding to support their work.

“Here in Cavan €15,953.00 has been allocated to Virginia Mens Shed, Cavan 365 Project, Focus Family Resource Centre Ltd., and Lavey Senior Social Club.

“This funding will make a real impact on the services that volunteers and groups can deliver and help them continue to make a difference to the lives of the many people who use these services.

“As the economy continues to recover, Fine Gael is determined to ensure that the benefits of this recovery are felt in every community across Ireland and I am determined to ensure they’re felt across Cavan.

“As a Government Senator for Cavan Monaghan I am working hard to ensure that the Government delivers for Cavan Monaghan. We are using the economic progress to make people’s lives a little better, and funding allocations like this one are very much part of that.”
