Fine Gael TD for Cavan and Monaghan, Deputy Joe O’Reilly, has welcomed the news that the Cavan Branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association has received funding of €15,000 for a new outdoor garden and secure parking area.
“I was delighted to learn, from the Minister for Health, Leo Varadkar TD, that the Cavan Branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association has received funding of €15,000 for the construction of a new outdoor garden and secure parking area. This funding comes on foot of an application made to the Department of Health’s National Lottery Grant Scheme.”
“I would like to pay tribute to all the staff of the Cavan Branch, led ably by their CEO Ms Maura Cooney. They put forward an excellent application and I would like to congratulate them on today’s news. I know the funding will go to very good use and I look forward to seeing the complete projects.”
